Virgin Media bundle features

Virgin Media’s broadband and TV bundles combine high speeds with a few generous extras right now, including up to three months free and as much as £200 in switching credit, which Virgin will gradually pay you back if you switch out from your existing deal when you're contract's not quite done yet.

With packages ranging from 132Mbps to over 1.1Gbps, Virgin’s still one of the fastest and most widely available providers in the UK, and because it doesn’t use BT’s Openreach network, you don’t need a phone line, and may be able to get it when you can't yet get Full Fibre from other providers.

Here’s a quick breakdown of what you get when you sign up to a Virgin Media bundle deal:

  • Zero upfront cost – All current bundles come with free setup and no activation or delivery fees
  • Fast, reliable speeds – Packages start at 132Mbps and go right up to 1.1Gbps, with even faster options arriving in some areas
  • Three months free – Select bundles include your first three months completely free, saving you up to £255 depending on the bundle you choose
  • Fixed pricing until March 2026 – Prices are locked until the end of March 2026, with only small rises each April after that (we've highlighted them in the listing)
  • Up to £200 switching credit – Virgin will cover your exit fees when you move from another provider befor your time's up
  • Standard 24-month term – All bundles run on a two-year minimum contract, so you’re protected from mid-term price hikes

The Virgin Media Hub 5 router

All Virgin Media broadband packages now include a Virgin Media Hub router, with the Hub 5 supplied on faster the packages: M500 and Gig1. The Hub 5 supports Wi‑Fi 6, making it a future-proof option for busy households filled with connected devices. It also features four Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections, and improved range and reliability over previous models.

The lower-tier packages – M125 and M250 – still come with the Hub 3, which is dual-band and provides solid performance, but no Wi-Fi 6 (which few people need anyway). If you need full control over your home network or prefer a mesh system, you can also switch any Virgin Media Hub into modem mode and use your own router.

Virgin TV 360 and Virgin Flex

Virgin TV 360 is the full-fat cable box of yore. Sure, it's 4K-ready, can take recordings, pause/rewind live TV, profiles and voice search, plus the big channel packs (Entertainment, Cinema, Sport, Kids) alongside the usual apps. But it's only the best fit if you still watch a lot of live channels and want proper recording features (and/or multiroom via 360 Mini boxes).

Virgin Flex is a small streaming box that runs over your Virgin broadband connection. Think simple setup, a clean interface and the freedom to add or remove channel packs month to month. There are fewer cables (you can use Wi-Fi), and very little fuss. It's a convenient way to get Sky channels, Netflix and more without the full TV 360 setup.

O2 SIM with Volt bundles

Volt bundles combine Virgin Media broadband and TV with an O2 mobile SIM. The SIM is usually 4GB, 10GB or unlimited, depending on the deal you choose, and comes with all the usual O2 perks – data rollover, free EU roaming, and access to O2 Priority.

When you take a Volt bundle, you also get automatic speed boosts on your broadband (for example, M250 instead of M125), double mobile data, and access to Virgin Wi-Fi hotspots nationwide. Everything sits neatly under one account, making it a good choice if you already use O2 or like the idea of keeping your mobile and broadband connected under one bill with mutual benefits running both ways.
