Virgin Media isn't available to every home in the UK. In fact, only around 60% of UK homes can get it. However, if you're lucky enough to live somewhere you can, it represents one of the most straightforward ways to get very, very fast broadband. Here we take a look at the best Virgin Media broadband deal that offer some form of cashback reward for signing up as a new customer.

Virgin Media broadband with rewards

The situation with cashback rewards with Virgin Media is a little unusual. Its main competitors tend to put the focus on cashback reward cards you have to manually claim at a set time after you're up and running. Virgin Media on the other hand tends to usually have one form of sale or another on at any given time, offering lower monthly bills than the 'standard price'.

Virgin Media also offers offer cashback rewards in addition to reduced monthly costs. Rather than taking the form of either a reward card you can spend anywhere, or a gift card you have to spend with a specific retailer, Virgin Media offers its cashback in the form of bill credit. The money is simply taken off your bill.

More rarely, and usually exclusive to their broadband and TV bundles, Virgin sometimes also offers a choice of bill credit or free gift. The gift usually being something electronic, with anything from a flatscreen TV to and Amazon Echo or even a video doorbell being offered recently.

You'll get faster download and upload speeds (264Mbps and 25Mbps respectively), doubling the download speed, which will suit larger households and is especially advisable if anyone in your household is a serious gamer. This might be the absolute sweet spot of Virgin Media's broadband only packages. You're going to pay a bit more than their lower speed packages, but for most households switching to this, it's really is going to provide speeds so much faster than they've been used to that it's worth every penny. You'll see download speeds of 516Mbps or more and uploads at about 52Mbps, which, if you're coming from a conventional FTTC connection, could be close to ten times what you're used to. That's impressive. But you'll still be saving a lot compared to Virgin's highest speed services which now go up to 2Gbps (and frankly, we don't think anybody really needs that). And right now this is available with a , so again, that means no bills at all for the first couple of months, and even the third one will be heavily reduced.
