Virgin Media have just changed tack and decided to once again offer free gifts and bill credits to tempt new customers to their excellent broadband and TV bundles. It's been a while, but they're back with a bang, offering a complimentary 43" LG TV or £125 bill credit, which would mean you'd have nothing to pay for the first few months on many of their packages. We've had a look at which we think are the best of the bunch, so let's dive in...
This is Virgin Media's flagship broadband and TV bundle, offering staggeringly fast 1.1Gbps broadband along with over 230 channels delivered via Virgin Media WiFi Hub and Stream box. Sky Cinema HD, Sky Sports HD and a Netflix subscription are included, along with an unlimited O2 SIM card.
One of Virgin Media's range topping packages, it's not often you can pick this up with freebies, so now might be the ideal time to indulge.

Outside of the few areas in the country that can get the unnecessarily quick Gig2 package tier, this 'everything including the kitchen sink' bundle provides a terrific amount of value, especially if you're in need of a mobile SIM. You'll get the full whack of TV channels with Sky Cinema included, and awesomely fast broadband averaging 1.1Gbps. It's a hell of a lot for the money, despite seeming expensive on the face of it.
Not quite the full-on Volt Max, but the next best thing. Again, it's not often you can pick up such a great bundle with a bill credit or free gift. So now might be the time.

One of Virgin Media's most popular broadband and TV packages. This offers an affordable combination of a generous 362Mbps broadband connection coupled with over 200 TV channels (including Sky Movies HD) brought to you by Virgin's excellent Stream box. Plus the added benefit of a Netflix standard with-ads subscription.
You'll be able to use that excellent 43" LG TV Virgin Media are throwing in with this package to watch all the great films that come with your new Sky Movies subscription. Or just opt for the bill credit and enjoy bill-free or reduced price TV and broadband for those first few months.

Get M250 fibre, then supercharge it with Volt for a free speed boost, double O2 data & a WiFi guarantee. Add Flex for 150+ TV channels and streaming apps as a flexible deal. The ultimate entertainment bundle.
Again, that free TV will come in handy for watching all the matches your Sky Sports HD subscription will allow you to access. But if you take the bill credit, you'll have nothing to pay for the first two months, and a discount on the third. Either way, it's a great deal and won't be around for long.

Virgin Media’s broadband and TV bundles combine high speeds with a few generous extras right now, including up to three months free and as much as £200 in switching credit, which Virgin will gradually pay you back if you switch out from your existing deal when you're contract's not quite done yet.
With packages ranging from 132Mbps to over 1.1Gbps, Virgin’s still one of the fastest and most widely available providers in the UK, and because it doesn’t use BT’s Openreach network, you don’t need a phone line, and may be able to get it when you can't yet get Full Fibre from other providers.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what you get when you sign up to a Virgin Media bundle deal:
All Virgin Media broadband packages now include a Virgin Media Hub router, with the Hub 5 supplied on faster the packages: M500 and Gig1. The Hub 5 supports Wi‑Fi 6, making it a future-proof option for busy households filled with connected devices. It also features four Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections, and improved range and reliability over previous models.
The lower-tier packages – M125 and M250 – still come with the Hub 3, which is dual-band and provides solid performance, but no Wi-Fi 6 (which few people need anyway). If you need full control over your home network or prefer a mesh system, you can also switch any Virgin Media Hub into modem mode and use your own router.
Virgin Media routersVirgin TV 360 is the full-fat cable box of yore. Sure, it's 4K-ready, can take recordings, pause/rewind live TV, profiles and voice search, plus the big channel packs (Entertainment, Cinema, Sport, Kids) alongside the usual apps. But it's only the best fit if you still watch a lot of live channels and want proper recording features (and/or multiroom via 360 Mini boxes).
Virgin Flex is a small streaming box that runs over your Virgin broadband connection. Think simple setup, a clean interface and the freedom to add or remove channel packs month to month. There are fewer cables (you can use Wi-Fi), and very little fuss. It's a convenient way to get Sky channels, Netflix and more without the full TV 360 setup.
Volt bundles combine Virgin Media broadband and TV with an O2 mobile SIM. The SIM is usually 4GB, 10GB or unlimited, depending on the deal you choose, and comes with all the usual O2 perks – data rollover, free EU roaming, and access to O2 Priority.
When you take a Volt bundle, you also get automatic speed boosts on your broadband (for example, M250 instead of M125), double mobile data, and access to Virgin Wi-Fi hotspots nationwide. Everything sits neatly under one account, making it a good choice if you already use O2 or like the idea of keeping your mobile and broadband connected under one bill with mutual benefits running both ways.
