It's achieved this by offering high quality equipment and stellar customer service at a price rarely matched when comparing like for like with other providers. More recently, it's begun offering 1.6Gbps broadband to those who can get Full Fibre, and even 2.2Gbps to a narrow spread of homes in Cambridgeshire thanks to its partnership with CityFibre. Vodafone Pro II Full Fibre 1.6Gbps and 2.2Gbps
For those who require even faster speeds, Vodafone’s Pro II Full Fibre packages are the ultimate choice. These packages are really for extreme applications, but are obviously also considered and taken up by people who simply want the fastest broadband they can get.
- Vodafone Pro II Full Fibre 1.6Gb – This package provides 1.6Gbps download speeds. Absurdly fast, but most households will struggle to use this much speed to a single device since speeds over 1Gbps need special networking equipment, and most devices aren't equipped with LAN ports over that speed
- Vodafone Pro II Full Fibre 2.2Gb – The highest-speed option from Vodafone, offering a remarkable 2.2Gbps. Vodafone has only just started rolling this out, and so the chances of being able to get it are extremely slim – a handful of homes, which is why we don't list it. Vodafone connected its first customer on this package only in July of 2024

Contract terms
All of Vodafone’s broadband deals come with a standard 24-month contract, which is long and less than ideal in our opinion – it is however fast becoming the norm. Vodafone implements price increases during the contract every April by £3.00 per month.
Special offers and discounts
Vodafone is known for offering competitive pricing on its broadband packages, with packages usually starting at around £24 per month for the basic Fibre 1 package, and reaching up to around £65 per month for the Pro II Full Fibre 1.6Gbps plan. Additionally, Vodafone often runs special promotions, which can include:
- Gift cards – New customers may receive a choice of vouchers (e.g., Amazon, Tesco, M&S) with select broadband deals.
- Amazon Echo Show – Certain broadband packages have sometimes offered a free Amazon Echo Show 5 for new customers
- Discounts for mobile customers – If you're an existing Vodafone mobile customer, you can save when bundling your mobile and broadband services together with Vodafone
Super WiFi and WiFi Hub
Many Vodafone broadband packages come with the option of adding a Super WiFi booster, which guarantees a strong WiFi signal throughout your home using mesh Wi-Fi extenders. The Super WiFi technology is particularly useful for large homes. With Pro broadband packages, Vodafone includes:
- Super WiFi Boosters – Mesh repeater devices that help eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones and ensure seamless connectivity across your entire home
- Wi-Fi Guarantee – Vodafone guarantees Wi-Fi coverage in every room of your home or offers money back
- 4G Backup – In case of broadband outages, Vodafone's Pro broadband packages provide 4G backup, ensuring that you're never left without an internet connection, albeit when you are you can expect a significant slowdown, since 4G isn't all that quick
- Norton 360 Security – Norton 360 comes bundled with Vodafone’s Pro packages, giving you 12 months of advanced antivirus and online security protection
Mobile and broadband bundling
As a leading mobile provider, Vodafone offers discounts for customers who choose to bundle their mobile and broadband services. This makes it an appealing option for existing Vodafone mobile customers who are looking to save on their overall monthly bill. Typically, Vodafone offers around £3 off per month for those who bundle their services together.
Installation and setup
Vodafone keeps its installation process simple, waiving any and all up-front costs on all of its fixed-line broadband packages. This makes it easier for new customers to switch to Vodafone without worrying about the cost of doing so. Additionally, installation times are generally quick, with most customers connected within 14 days of placing their order.
Full Fibre technology
Vodafone’s faster broadband packages use FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) technology, which delivers higher speeds and more reliable connections compared to the older FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) infrastructure. With Full Fibre, fibre optic cables run directly to your home, rather than to a nearby street cabinet, reducing latency and providing more stable, and much faster speeds.
Full Fibre is not available to every home in the UK in the same way standard Fibre broadband generally is, though. By current reckoning, 69% of UK homes can get it, but that figure still sounds high to us. Our experience is it's somewhat less than that.
Speed guarantees and reliability
Vodafone’s Pro broadband packages come with speed guarantees, meaning that if your broadband speeds fall below a certain threshold, you are entitled to compensation. This makes Vodafone’s Pro packages a good choice for those who need some reassurance their service won't be interrupted. Vodafone doesn't want to pay compensation, so keeping things ticking over then becomes that much more vital.
Customer satisfaction
Vodafone has built a reputation as a good-value broadband provider, frequently receiving high ratings in customer satisfaction surveys, not least our own where it came fifth overall according to its customers, with particularly high ratings for the switching experience and the equipment supplied.
