Plusnet broadband deals

Customer service heavyweight Plusnet is currently offering up to £75 cashback in the form of a pre-loaded Mastercard reward card you can spend anywhere. You won't find it on all of its packages though – just three, in fact, and we're going to talk about those here.

Limited-time Plusnet broadband deals

These Plusnet broadband reward card offers end on 2 July 2025, so if it's something you're keen to pursue you'll have to sign up by then. It's not all that often that Plusnet adds gift cards and the like to sweeten their deals, since they already tend to be terrific value for money. So do bear that in mind.

Plusnet Fibre Broadband

£50 reward card | Free set-up

For those of us who can't get Full Fibre where we live yet – and yes that's a we, since we find ourselves in that very category – Plusnet offer its Standard Fibre package titled simply 'Plusnet Fibre Broadband'. Despite not being Full Fibre, it still packs a decent punch at 66Mbps average speed, which is plenty for streaming, even in 4K, and gaming. However, game downloads will take a long time at this speed, and things may get a little congested if everyone in the household is doing things online at the same time. It's worth noting that you won't be shown this package if you can get Full Fibre, since providers now insist on it where available.

Plusnet Full Fibre 500

£50 reward card | Free set-up

Plusnet's Full Fibre 500 – as its name suggests – offers an average download speed of 500Mbps, which is more than enough for any household. It's Full Fibre of course, so if you can't get Full Fibre where you live, you're going to be out of luck. If you can get it, you'll experience seamless streaming, downloads, working from home – just about anything you want to do. And it's very unlikely you'll ever push up against speed limits. The only reason to choose a faster package, in fact, is if you constantly download large files such as videogames and you want those to happen as fast as possible.

Plusnet Full Fibre 900

£75 reward card | Free set-up

Adding another 410Mbps, pushing your average download speed right up to 910Mbps, we have Plusnet's Full Fibre 900. As we often say, top speeds hovering around 1Gbps or greater should really be marketed as gamer packages, since downloading large videogames is the only really common activity likely to make use of all that speed. That said, if you just want the fastest speed available for peace of mind, this is it when it comes to Plusnet.

Plusnet Broadband package features

You may or may not be aware that the one thing Plusnet prides itself on is its customer service. Since its inception as a Yorkshire-based, independent provider and throughout the intervening time since being procured by BT, Plusnet has and continues to win awards for customer service as well as many plaudits and positive reviews from its customers.

Here's a quick overview of what's on offer with a Plusnet broadband deal.

Standard with Plusnet Broadband

  • Free router and installation – All Plusnet broadband deals have no upfront costs and include a free Hub Two router
  • UK-based, award-winning support – Plusnet is recognised for its friendly, UK-based customer service and has won awards for value and service every year it's existed right up to 2025

Contract and pricing

  • Fixed or predictable price rises – The price of your package will go up by £3 per year every April 1. Plusnet is very transparent about this
  • Full Fibre upgrade guarantee – If Full Fibre becomes available at your address, you can upgrade from Standard Fibre at any time

Extras

  • Plusnet SafeGuard & Protect – Broadband-only plans include content filters and antivirus software powered by Norton, free with your package

The Plusnet Hub Two router

Every Plusnet broadband package now includes the Plusnet Hub Two router — a rebranded BT Smart Hub 2 — designed for easy setup and is a solid performer. It offers dual-band Wi‑Fi, seven internal antennas and automatic channel selection to help you get fast, reliable coverage across your home. While it doesn’t support Wi‑Fi 6, it’s well suited to typical household use, with three Ethernet ports, a USB port for shared storage or printers, and an intuitive web-based Hub Manager that lets you manage settings and parental controls. If you’re after Wi‑Fi 6 or mesh systems, you can still have that, but you’ll need to add your own kit and switch the Hub Two into bridge mode where it will act as a modem.

How to claim your Plusnet reward card

The reward card on these deals is a pre-paid Mastercard which you can spend anywhere, but it won't simply arrive on your doorstep automatically. You'll actually have to claim it, and there's a window of time you'll have to do it.

After you're up and running there will be a 14-day cooling-off period in which you have the right to change your mind and cancel. Following that you will have two months to claim your reward card. Don't forget!
