Customer service heavyweight Plusnet is currently offering £140 cashback in the form of a pre-loaded Mastercard reward card you can spend anywhere. You won't find it on all of its packages though – just the fastest four full fibre packages, and we're going to talk about those here.
These Plusnet broadband reward card offers end soon, so if it's something you're keen to pursue you'll have to sign up by then. It's not all that often that Plusnet adds gift cards and the like to sweeten their deals, since they already tend to be terrific value for money. So do bear that in mind.
Plusnet's Full Fibre 145 Broadband – it offers the slowest speed of the four packages we're highlighting here, but we think that for many households its average downloads of around 145Mbps (with uploads at 30Mbps) will prove to be perfectly adequate. Like all the deals Plusnet are currently promotiing with a reward card, you'll need to be in an FTTP enabled area, which means you will be able to get much, much faster broadband if you opt to spend a little more. But if you're watching the pennies, we honestly don't think there's much wrong with this. It's absolutely more than fast enough for most people.
Effective monthly cost is calculated by adding up all the monthly costs, price rises and any discounts and dividing it by the contract length.
Once your broadband is activated you'll receive Plusnet Reward Card claim information by email. You must then submit the claim within 2 months. The card must be activated within 3 months of being issued. Once your broadband and home phone is activated you will be issued the claim via email. Follow the instructions in this email to be issued with your Plusnet Reward Card. You must submit your claim within 2 months of the email being issued. The card must be activated within three months of it being issued.
Moving up the range, we come to Plusnet's Full Fibre 300 Broadband. Price wise, it's a fiver a month on top of the Full Fibre 145, but for that £5 you're going to see over double the download speed. Even the upload speeds move up to about 50Mbps, which is about as fast as broadband got in either direction until relatively recently. So, while you might want to spend just a pound a month more than this to get that full 500Mbps (and really, that might be the sweet spot in Plusnet's range righth now), you certainly won't be going far wrong with this. Again, this comes with a £140 reward card, which is about as generous as they get.

Plusnet's Full Fibre 500 Broadband – as its name suggests – offers an average download speed of 500Mbps, which is more than enough for any household. It's Full Fibre of course, so if you can't get Full Fibre where you live, you're going to be out of luck. If you can get it, you'll experience seamless streaming, downloads, working from home – just about anything you want to do. And it's very unlikely you'll ever push up against speed limits. The only reason to choose a faster package, in fact, is if you constantly download large files such as videogames and you want those to happen as fast as possible. As we mentioned above, value-wise this one probably is the pick of the bunch right now.

Adding another 410Mbps, pushing your average download speed right up to 910Mbps, we have Plusnet's Full Fibre 900 Broadband. As we often say, top speeds hovering around 1Gbps or greater should really be marketed as gamer packages, since downloading large videogames is the only really common activity likely to make use of all that speed. That said, if you just want the fastest speed available for peace of mind, this is it when it comes to Plusnet.

The reward card on these deals is a pre-paid Mastercard which you can spend anywhere, but it won't simply arrive on your doorstep automatically. You'll actually have to claim it, and there's a window of time you'll have to do it.
After you're up and running there will be a 14-day cooling-off period in which you have the right to change your mind and cancel. Following that you will have two months to claim your reward card. Don't forget!
Don't forget that although Plusnet is a superb choice, there are plenty of other providers out there who periodically offer various types of reward for new customers signing up for the first time.

You may or may not be aware that the one thing Plusnet prides itself on is its customer service. Since its inception as a Yorkshire-based, independent provider and throughout the intervening time since being procured by BT, Plusnet has and continues to win awards for customer service as well as many plaudits and positive reviews from its customers.
Here's a quick overview of what's on offer with a Plusnet broadband deal.
Every Plusnet broadband package now includes the Plusnet Hub Two router — a rebranded BT Smart Hub 2 — designed for easy setup and is a solid performer. It offers dual-band Wi‑Fi, seven internal antennas and automatic channel selection to help you get fast, reliable coverage across your home. While it doesn’t support Wi‑Fi 6, it’s well suited to typical household use, with three Ethernet ports, a USB port for shared storage or printers, and an intuitive web-based Hub Manager that lets you manage settings and parental controls. If you’re after Wi‑Fi 6 or mesh systems, you can still have that, but you’ll need to add your own kit and switch the Hub Two into bridge mode where it will act as a modem.
