Frequently asked questions
How do I use a Virgin Media promo code from this page?
Once you've entered your address and selected an available deal you're interested in, click the "Get Deal" button. You'll then be taken to the Virgin Media website where the bill credit or gift will be automatically applied during the checkout process. Usually with Virgin there's simply no need to enter a promo or discount code – it all works seamlessly.
Are these Virgin Media offers or promo codes valid for July 2026?
Yes, all the deals, offers and any voucher codes listed on this page and in our comparison tables are checked and verified for July 2026. We strive to keep our information up-to-date so you can find the best offers that are available right now, and specific to where you live.
Can existing Virgin Media customers use these promo codes?
Typically (like most providers), Virgin Media's special offers are aimed at tempting new customers to switch to them. However, sometimes existing customers may find upgrade deals or loyalty offers are available. It's always best to check the terms and conditions of each specific promotion. Generally though, if you are out of contract (or soon will be) and definitely want to stay with Virgin, our advice would be to call them directly and explain that you're thinking of leaving, but open to staying if they can help you out. That's often enough for them to make you a tempting offer.
What types of Virgin Media deals can I find here?
When they're available, you can typically find a variety of Virgin Media deals on this page. Usually they include generous bill credits or price reductions on M125, M250, M500 and Gig1 Fibre Broadband and packages with no upfront activation or setup fees. For some reason, they tend to not include M350 broadband amongst those. Sometimes there's a choice of bill credit or gift (usually something like a high-end smart TV) with Virgin's broadband, TV and phone bundles.
What should I do if a Virgin Media offer or promo code isn't working?
If an offer isn't working, ensure the deal is still valid and that you meet all the terms and conditions (e.g., you're a new customer in a Virgin Media area). If it still doesn't work, the offer might have expired or been unexpectedly withdrawn. Although it's unusual, there are occasionally technical issues on the provider websites. We recommend checking back here for the latest deals or contacting Virgin Media directly.
How often are new Virgin Media offers, deals and promo codes released?
Virgin Media, like most providers, updates their offers and promotions frequently. New deals can appear weekly or be timed around specific sales periods like Black Friday. Sometimes they're 'flash' sales which are offered without much forewarning and only run for a few days. But don't worry – we're in constant contact with them and always update this page and our comparison pages immediately to reflect the newest Virgin Media offers.
What does "free activation" or "zero upfront cost" mean for these Virgin Media deals?
"Free activation" or "zero upfront cost" generally means that Virgin Media is waiving the standard initial fee they might charge for setting up your new service. Historically, this was as much as £35, which in many cases was more than the actual monthly fee. The details of what's included (equipment delivery, for example or an engineer visit if required) should be on the Virgin Media site when you sign up for the service.
How long do these Virgin Media promotional prices last?
The offers are usually made available for anything from a few days to several months. And often comparison sites like ourselves simply don't know when an offer will be withdrawn, so it's always best to act fast if you find a deal that's right for you. They can be withdrawn with very little notice.
Unless it's a reduced price deal for a defined period of time (like six months half price – not traditionally Virgin's style), the price you'll actually pay will remain unchanged until the following April when all providers implement their annual price rises. And since the introduction of recent Ofcom regulations that's always a fixed figure and in the case of Virgin Media that's currently a £4 per month increase.
However, do remember that the price increases are every April, so typically most customers will experience two £4 monthly price rises over the 24 month contract period.
After the contract period ends, the price will revert to Virgin Media's standard rate for that package, which will almost certainly be considerably higher. Always check the contract length and any information about price changes after the initial offer period. It's at this point that comparison websites like us can help you find a much cheaper deal with a new provider. Companies almost always value new customers over keeping their old ones loyal.
