With so many options, finding the right broadband deal can be a faff. That's why our experts have done the hard work for you, analysing every Virgin Media broadband package available in June 2026. And it's not a very difficult task right now as Virgin Media seem to have decided to stop offering bill credits (however tempting they may have been), and just offer rock bottom prices on it's most popular packages. We think that's a huge step forward, although we can't predict how much longer Virgin will continue to take this approach. But while they do, here's our expert verdict on the top Virgin Media deals right now, chosen to give you the best possible value and performance.
Virgin Media’s top-of-the-line broadband package. It’s quite simply the fastest widely available broadband in the UK with blistering average download speeds of 1130Mbps and they're expanding their coverage all the time.
Price-wise, this really is the star of the show. Nobody can come near this. If you need the speed, then Virgin Media's recent pricing for Gig1 Fibre Broadband represents some of the best value we've seen for a long time. Highly recommended.
Gig1 Fibre Broadband

Month contract
Zero upfront cost
£22.99 Per month
Effective monthly cost is calculated by adding up all the monthly costs, price rises and any discounts and dividing it by the contract length.
You'll save £96 over the 24 month contract when compared to the regular Virgin Media price of £26.99 per month.
The second tier in Virgin Media’s selection of very fast fibre broadband deals, we reckon the 264Mb downloads will suit households where several people could be streaming or gaming at the same time.
The same price as Virgin's already excellent M125 deal, the provider's current M250 offer provides possbily the cheapest fixed line broadband package in the UK right now. And you're getting speeds that are far more than most households even need.

Effective monthly cost is calculated by adding up all the monthly costs, price rises and any discounts and dividing it by the contract length.
You'll save £192 over the 24 month contract when compared to the regular Virgin Media price of £25.99 per month.
Mid-tier in their range, but still incredibly quick broadband with average downloads of 516Mbps (and a guaranteed to be at least 258Mbps), we think this is a wonderful compromise.
One of the best value broadband packages on the market. Pound-for-megabit it really is right up there with the best.
M500 Fibre Broadband

Virgin Media's M125 fibre broadband is very often the best all-round broadband deal if you can get it. And it's consistent average download speeds of 132Mbps is plenty for most households.
If you just want basic, reliable broadband at a rock bottom price then M125 is usually one of the best choices you can make. But right now M250 is the same price, so really, that's the one to go for. And it's not even basic.

0330 221 9429Virgin Media's deals don't currently include a bill credit, but they are something Virgin have been offering for many years now. They'll quite possibly reinstate them at some point, and there are certainly many customers out there who are still reaping the benefits of earlier bill credit offers, so here's a quick recap on how they work.
The credit is taken off your Virgin Media bills automatically once your broadband is active. There’s nothing to submit or redeem. So, your first bill is paid and the remainder then rolls onto the following bills until the full bill credit is used. So that means the first few months are free, with the next month being reduced. Since it's part of your bill, you can also use the credit against Virgin’s on-demand entertainment. Spend it all on movies if you want, that's up to you.
Bill credits can’t be taken as cash and are limited to one per household. If you cancel before activation, no credit is applied. Seems obvious to say but we know what you money savers are like.
Virgin Media is known for offering some of the fastest widely available broadband in the UK, along with attractive introductory offers such as price reductions or bill credits. As the only major, national provider to run its own network, Virgin Media is able to deliver speeds of over 1Gbps wherever it's available, and you won't need a phone line. While customer service reviews are mixed as of late, it remains a solid choice if you can get it.
Here’s what you can expect when you sign up to a Virgin Media broadband deal.
Virgin Media's current broadband deals are strong, but it’s worth remembering that other providers also run compelling offers throughout the year, often including reward cards, free setup, or discounted pricing for new customers.

All Virgin Media broadband packages now include a Virgin Media Hub router, with the Hub 5 supplied on faster the packages: M500 and Gig1. The Hub 5 supports Wi‑Fi 6, making it a future-proof option for busy households filled with connected devices. It also features four Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections, and improved range and reliability over previous models.
The lower-tier packages – M125 and M250 – still come with the Hub 3, which is dual-band and provides solid performance, but no Wi-Fi 6 (which few people need anyway). If you need full control over your home network or prefer a mesh system, you can also switch any Virgin Media Hub into modem mode and use your own router.
