Best Virgin Media broadband deals

Top Virgin broadband deals this month

With so many options, finding the right broadband deal can be a faff. That's why our experts have done the hard work for you, analysing every Virgin Media broadband package available this October. Virgin Media usually tempts new customers by offering a bill credit, meaning you'd quite possibly not pay anything for the first few months of the contract. However, right now they're doing something a bit different – they've simply slashed the price on three of their most popular broadband packages. And that means some of the best value deals we've ever seen. So, here's our expert verdict on the top Virgin Media deals for October 2025, chosen to give you the best possible value and performance.

Package features

Virgin Media is known for offering some of the fastest widely available broadband in the UK, along with attractive introductory offers such as price reductions or bill credits. As the only major, national provider to run its own network, Virgin Media is able to deliver speeds of over 1Gbps wherever it's available, and you won't need a phone line. While customer service reviews are mixed as of late, it remains a solid choice if you can get it.

Here’s what you can expect when you sign up to a Virgin Media broadband deal.

  • Zero upfront costs – All Virgin Media broadband packages include free setup with no activation or delivery charges
  • High average speeds – From 132Mbps right up to 1.1Gbps (and 2Gbps in some areas), Virgin Media offers some of the fastest speeds available in the UK
  • Fixed pricing until March 2026 – All current deals come with fixed pricing until the end of March 2026, after which prices increase modestly each year on 1 April
  • Price reductions or bill credits – At various times, Virgin offer significant price reductions, or bill credits (making some deals free for up to five months)
  • 24-month contracts – All offers are tied to a standard 24 month minimum term.

How do Virgin Media Broadband packages compare?

Virgin Media's current broadband deals are strong, especially with the extremely generous price reductions and fixed pricing until March 2026. But it’s worth remembering that other providers also run compelling offers throughout the year, often including reward cards, free setup, or discounted pricing for new customers.

The Virgin Media Hub 5 router

All Virgin Media broadband packages now include a Virgin Media Hub router, with the Hub 5 supplied on faster the packages: M500 and Gig1. The Hub 5 supports Wi‑Fi 6, making it a future-proof option for busy households filled with connected devices. It also features four Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections, and improved range and reliability over previous models.

The lower-tier packages – M125 and M250 – still come with the Hub 3, which is dual-band and provides solid performance, but no Wi-Fi 6 (which few people need anyway). If you need full control over your home network or prefer a mesh system, you can also switch any Virgin Media Hub into modem mode and use your own router.
